The Mark Counseling’s Adolescent Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to help teens struggling with issues like depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. Program Details

Structured Support for Teens
Our Adolescent Mental Health IOP provides a safe, welcoming space where teens can address their challenges and build healthy coping mechanisms. Here’s what the program offers:

  • Session Frequency: 3.5-hour sessions, three times per week.
  • Program Duration: The program typically spans three months but can be tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Therapeutic Components:
    • Group Therapy: Teens connect with peers in a supportive setting, reducing isolation and fostering understanding.
    • Educational Sessions: Teens learn essential skills to manage stress, handle emotions, and build positive relationships.
    • Multifamily Therapy: Sessions involving the whole family help address communication challenges and strengthen bonds.
  • Parent Support Groups: Parents participate in specialized sessions designed to help them better understand and support their teen.
  • Continued Care: Graduates of the program can access up to six months of weekly aftercare sessions at no additional cost.

Referrals

Referral for inpatient/residential treatment. During the assessment process, it may be determined that a higher level of care is indicated. We know the facilities that provide the best treatment and are financially compatible with your health care and financial means. The Mark staff can assist with a smoother transition. We will also be there for you for follow-up when you or your family member are discharged.
