The Mark Counseling’s Adolescent Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a comprehensive program designed to help teens struggling with substance use issues. Program Details

A Tailored Program for Lasting Recovery
Our Adolescent Substance Abuse IOP offers a safe and supportive space for teens to address their struggles and create positive change. Key program features include:

  • Session Frequency: 3.5-hour sessions, three times per week.
  • Program Duration: Typically lasting three months, with flexibility to meet each teen’s specific needs.
  • Therapeutic Elements:
    • Teen Group Therapy: Teens connect with peers in a supportive group setting, building relationships and sharing experiences that foster healing.
    • Educational Sessions: Teens learn coping strategies, healthy decision-making skills, and ways to prevent relapse.
    • Family Involvement: Multifamily therapy sessions and parent support groups foster open communication, strengthen family bonds, and provide tools to support the recovery process.
  • Continued Care: Graduates of the program receive up to six months of weekly aftercare sessions at no additional cost, ensuring ongoing support.

Referrals

Referral for inpatient/residential treatment. During the assessment process, it may be determined that a higher level of care is indicated. We know the facilities that provide the best treatment and are financially compatible with your health care and financial means. The Mark staff can assist with a smoother transition. We will also be there for you for follow-up when you or your family member are discharged.
