Support for Expecting and New Parents in Pima County, Yuma County, Safford, AZ, and Globe, AZ.
The MECSH program is an evidenced-based nurse home visiting program that helps families’ parent effectively despite the challenges and difficulties they face. Through the Easterseals Blake Foundation MECSH program, families are partnered with a nurse who will provide them with education on how to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Nurses will also help families set goals for themselves and provide them with resources to help achieve their goals. The MECSH program helps families learn positive parenting skills, ways to bond and play with their baby, and skills to access community resources.
Our Nurse Home Visitation services include multiple evidence-based programs delivered by experienced, registered nurses. While some eligibility criteria vary, your nurse will help determine which program is the best fit.
This approach ensures you get the right level of care based on your unique situation — without needing to figure it out yourself.

You may qualify if:
You are currently pregnant
You have a Has newborn less than 9 weeks from hospital discharge
You live in Pima, Yuma, or Graham Counties (including Safford and Sierra Vista)
You meet basic risk or need criteria (most families do!)
*No insurance is required. Services are available in English and Spanish.
